Gochujang Chicken Wings

Gochujang Chicken Wings!

 

8 chicken wings separated at the joints

 

Marinade

 

2 tablespoons gochujang

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon Korean pepper powder ( if you can't get this leave it out or substitute with dried chilli flakes )

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Add marinade ingredients to Wings and mix well.

Allow to marinade for 30 minutes or overnight for better results.

 

Preheat oven to 180degrees Celsius.

 

Line a baking tray with foil and baking paper for easy clean up.

Coat marinated Wings in 2 tablespoons olive oil before tipping onto the lined baking tray.

 

Bake 1 hour.

 

Turn wings a few times during cooking time.

Don't worry if the marinade burns a little.. adds flavor!

 

Garnish with fresh spring onion, a drizzle of Kewpie chilli mayo and some toasted sesame seeds.
