Bacon, Garlic and Cheese Cob Loaf for Kids

Mini Bacon, cheese and garlic cob dip for the children
2-4 large crusty bread rolls depending on the size you may have enough sauce for 4 rolls ( cut tops of the rolls and remove the innards, place all pieces of bread onto an oven tray )
2 rashers bacon diced
4 cloves garlic minced
250g cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup grated tasty cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Cucumber and carrot sticks to serve
Preheat oven to 200 Degrees Celsius
Cook the bacon until crispy remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan cook the garlic until just starting to turn golden then add the cream cheese and sour cream, melt on a medium low heat until smooth.
Add the cheese and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and stir through half the cooked bacon but remember to save the rest for topping.
Taste and season with salt and pepper then spoon the sauce into your hollowed out bread rolls. Place the bread rolls, tops and innards on a tray and bake for 10 minutes or until the bread is crispy and golden.
Sprinkle the leftover cooked bacon we reserved earlier over the cooked cob loaves.
Serve with fresh carrot and cucumber sticks.
My kids loved it!
